Charles Bridge, Prague

The Charles Bridge was simply awesome. The view from the bridge was postcard perfect.
No other city looked so good from a bridge. It was not just the view, you simply had to be there to know what it was like. It was majestic with the castle up the hill, romantic with spires/towers all around, refreshing with the cold wind in your hair and sight and sound of the Vltava river, entertaining with the music from the band playing on the mid-span, festival like with the hoards of tourist from all over the world, historical due to the age of the bridge and architecture, religious with the statues lining the sides, magical when you rubbed St John and made a wish.........

Bumped into Tessa twice in Prague, at St Vitus Cathedral in the morning and at Charles Bridge in the afternoon. Tessa was on a separate packaged tour of Eastern Europe.
